My stay at Victorian Woods had some highs and lows. The staff member, Yousuf, really stood out with his friendly assistance, making me feel welcome and at ease. The place was clean and tidy, which I appreciated. The open kitchen was a nice touch, providing flexibility for meals, though I did find it a bit tricky to locate the building since there's no sign at all. A clear business name displayed would have been helpful. On the downside, I encountered an unfortunate misunderstanding with the owner that marred my visit a little. The place could also use more variety in breakfast options, as the selection felt limited. It was nice being close to Forest Gate station but the lack of clear information before arrival made navigating a challenge.

Great value with clean accommodations
During my stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and comfortable room, perfect for a one-night stopover. The location was easily accessible, just a quick five-minute walk from the Elizabeth line, making my travels around London a breeze. the lack of proper signage outside the property made it difficult to find upon arrival.

Lovely London vibes 🇬🇧🌸
Chommie at reception was super friendly, helped with my bags and showed me around. The room was cozy, lekker soft bed, and I loved the modern kitchen setup. Free brekkie was a nice touch too, toast and jam to start the day right!
Getting to the place was a bit of a mission with no sign outside, had to call to find it.

big room, clean sheets, smoking area
Two shared toilets are minimal for the number of guests!!! Having to wash hands in the kitchen because of this is quite inconvenient!!! A proper sign outside would make finding the place far less of a hassle!!!

The double room was nice with a tea and coffee maker, which I appreciated. The kitchen allowed me to prepare meals, which felt more like home. On my first evening, the friendly lady at reception helped me settle in. I also enjoyed the quiet street view from my room, providing a peaceful atmosphere.
There was no signage outside, making it difficult to find. The breakfast was very basic, just bread and jam, which did not meet expectations. The shared bathroom situation also lacked sufficient amenities.

I had an amazing night at this cozy spot with a super comfy bed and a lovely garden area to unwind in during my stay. I really enjoyed the quiet lounge for relaxing dips and the fresh breakfast options available each morning. The only hiccup was the shared bathroom situation, which could use a few more amenities, but overall, it was a great experience! 🌟

Family with children friendly
The staff gave me a very large, comfortable room, which I was told was a free upgrade. The back garden is large and peaceful, perfect for kids to run around and explore.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but still acceptable for what I got.
